1. Scope and parties
1.1 These Terms of Service govern the purchase of tickets and participation in K-Life events.
1.2 K-Life Technologies is the UK-based platform operator that provides the booking flow, payment collection, confirmation communications, and event coordination services.
1.3 The organiser, venue operators, fitness centres, and other local partners may provide the physical event delivery, premises, and local support. K-Life is not the employer or direct operator of those local services unless expressly stated.
2. Eligibility and participation
2.1 Attendees must be at least 18 years old, or attend with parental or guardian consent where permitted by law.
2.2 Participants must follow event instructions, behave safely, and respect the venue, staff, and other attendees.
2.3 K-Life may refuse admission, remove a person, or cancel participation where safety, conduct, or legal requirements make continued attendance inappropriate.
2.4 By purchasing a ticket, you confirm that you are physically able to participate and that you have sought medical advice where needed.
3. Ticketing, payments, and confirmation
3.1 Bookings are made through the K-Life booking process and payments are processed through Stripe.
3.2 Payment is due at the time of booking. A booking is confirmed only once a successful payment is received and a confirmation is sent by email or WhatsApp.
3.3 Tickets are personal and non-transferable unless K-Life expressly agrees otherwise.
3.4 All ticket sales are final except as expressly provided in Sections 4 and 5.
4. Cancellation, refunds, and rescheduling
4.1 If K-Life cancels an event due to severe weather, venue issues, safety concerns, force majeure, or legal restrictions, a full refund will normally be issued to the original payment method within 48 hours where feasible.
4.2 If the running phase is cancelled due to lightning or a similar safety risk while the plunge and party continue, a 50% refund will be issued.
4.3 If a participant arrives late and misses the running phase, no refund will be issued for the missed segment.
4.4 If a participant voluntarily withdraws or does not attend, no refund will be provided.
4.5 Where a venue or local partner changes the location or timing, K-Life will use reasonable efforts to notify attendees promptly.
5. Weather, safety, and force majeure
5.1 Outdoor events are weather-dependent and may be adjusted for safety reasons.
5.2 K-Life may change the order of activities, shorten the event, or cancel a segment where weather or safety conditions require it.
5.3 K-Life will not be liable for delays, changes, or cancellations caused by weather, natural events, transport issues, government action, or other circumstances beyond reasonable control.
6. Media and promotional use
6.1 Professional photography and videography may be taken at events.
6.2 Participants may opt out of media capture by contacting K-Life via WhatsApp with "No-Media" and their name.
6.3 K-Life may use authorised event images and footage for promotional purposes unless a participant has opted out in writing.
7. Waiver of liability and assumption of risk
7.1 Participation is voluntary and participants assume the inherent risks of running, cold immersion, outdoor activity, travel, and social events.
7.2 To the fullest extent permitted by law, K-Life and its partners are not liable for personal injury, death, loss, theft, property damage, or other harm arising from participation, except where caused by gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
7.3 Participants agree to indemnify K-Life against claims arising from their own conduct, unsafe behaviour, or breach of these Terms.
8. Intellectual property and communications
8.1 All event branding, content, ticketing interfaces, and related materials are owned or licensed by K-Life unless otherwise stated.
8.2 Participants may not reproduce, copy, or misuse event materials without prior written permission.
8.3 K-Life may contact attendees by email or WhatsApp for confirmations, updates, customer support, and operational notices.
9. Governing law and disputes
9.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.
9.2 Any dispute should first be discussed in good faith. If unresolved, it may be brought before the competent courts of England and Wales.
10. Changes and contact
10.1 K-Life may update these Terms from time to time.
10.2 Continued participation after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
